Qiantu K50 to Be Produced in Washington State by Mullen Technologies

Business

New businesses and manufacturing coming to a state is always a great thing, even if that happens to be a largely industrialized state like Washington. However, what makes the imminent arrival of Mullen Technologies to Washington a particularly path-breaking development is the fact that it is an electric vehicle company and if experts are to be believed then those are going to be the vehicles of the future. On top of that, it is also necessary to keep in mind that the technology used to manufacture electric vehicles is at the forefront of modern tech and bodes well for the future of the tech industry in the state. In addition to that, the fact that a manufacturing unit is being set up to produce Mullen’s flagship vehicle, make it obvious that the tech talent in the state is world class.

According to a press release published today by the California based company, Mullen’s flagship electric vehicle Qiantu K50 is going to be manufactured in Washington and the Spokane region has been chosen as the site for the manufacturing unit. The company has already signed a letter of intent with the West Plains Airport Area Public Development Authority, and according to the press release by the company, it is going to construct a facility that is going to stretch over an area of 1.3 million square feet. Needless to say, it is going to be a huge project with immense growth.

However, it is not going to be a manufacturing facility only. According to the company, the cars are going to be assembled in the same facility as well, and in addition to that, there are going to be considerable research and development units inside the factory. It goes without saying, that this unit, once built, will be a full-service electric vehicle manufacturing facility. The founder and chief executive officer of Mullen Technologies, David Michery said, “We are thrilled to be finalizing this critical first step in bringing the Qiantu K50 by Mullen to North America, The response to the vehicle at the New York Auto Show was incredible, and we can’t wait to get positive feedback once people actually drive this beautiful EV.”
