Three People shot by shooters in White Center; Police detains 15 people with regards to shooting incidence

On Sunday morning, an unusual incidence occurred in White Center. Shooters nearly fired 40 bullets and injured three people. The three victims of the shooting incidence were at the hospital with gunshot wounds for further treatment.

According to the King County Sheriff’s Office, the three victims visited Harborview Medical Center on Sunday at 7:00 a.m. and were instantly underwent treatment. However, hospital officials mention one of the victims is in critical condition, and another victim is seriously injured and very critical. The third victim is out of danger and discharged.

The police officers began to investigate the shooting incidence and carried out a search operation to detain the shooters. The police officers managed to detain around dozens of people.

The shooting incidence occurred in an alley on Southwest 98th Street close to 16th Avenue Southwest. The incidence might have happened at 5.30 a.m. in the morning on Sunday.

Soon after the shooting incidence, someone gave a call at 911. Detective’s failed to locate the incidence scene unless three victims arrived at Harborview Medical Center for treatment after 45 minutes.

Two victims are still admitted in the hospital. However, officers managed to speak to the third victim. His leg was wounded as shooter shot him at his leg. The detectives then arrived at the shooting scene and discovered shell casings galore.

After 9 hours of the shooting incidence, officers took 15 people into custody. Officers mentioned they received a call of the shooting incidence at around 5.30a.m., near 16 Avenue and 17 Avenue southwest but could not find anything when they reached at the site.

Investigators have closed the shooting area and are working to find the reason for this incidence.

Sgt. Ryan Abbott, King County Sheriff detective, said: “At about 6:13, we had three adult males, they drove themselves to Harborview hospital.”

Abbott confirmed that the victim with minor injury reported to them what took place at during the incidence.

“There was some type of gathering that was occurring at an after-hours location down the valley. And during that, there was a disturbance that broke out. We don’t know how many people the disturbance involved. And as you can see, multiple gunshots were fired.”

The third victim claims several bullets were shot and they hit vehicles and buildings. Abbott mentions the exact number of bullets fired remains unknown but expects to be around 40.

 The officers declined to release the name of the three victims. The person’s responsible for this incidence still remains untraced, officers ask people having any information of this incidence to call 911.
